The PSC offers extensive graduate studies in the field of plant sciences at both the Master’s and the PhD level. The range of courses offered covers the entire area of plant sciences and aims to convey interdisciplinary and current knowledge as well as state-of-the-art technologies.
At the Master’s level, the PSC offers 'Master’s Studies and Master’s Courses in Plant Sciences'. It is organized in cooperation of 6 Master’s studies of 3 leading Swiss universities (University of Zurich, ETH Zurich, and University of Basel) and aims to provide students with extensive Master's degree programs in plant sciences. Internationally recognized experts from all areas of plant sciences contribute to a diversified, interdisciplinary range of courses.
With this project, the Zurich-Basel Plant Science Center promotes horizontal mobility of students in Switzerland and a shared education in plant sciences between universities.

The Zurich-Basel Plant Science Center enables PhD students to access a broad range of courses and allows them to acquire many additional practice-oriented qualifications.
The PSC Ph.D. Program in Plant Sciences allows you to carry out your research in the most challenging areas of plant sciences relating to molecular plant biology, environmental sciences, systematic botany and agronomy.
Additionally, you visit a training program including interdisciplinarity and offering courses on research skills and transferable skills necessary for a career both in academia and outside academia
A specialized PSC PhD Program in Plant Sciences and Policy is offered withing the PhD Program in Plant Sciences for a limited number of Ph.D. students. The program is open to talented young scientists that are motivated to carry out excellent research in plant sciences and to take responsibility at the interface between policy, public and research
